I am a freshman in high school and I really like this sophomore girl whos in my Geomotry class. We talk on myspace alot mostly about a SW studies class we had last quarter,bands and upcoming classes . However weve only talked in person a few times. For some reason I cant get her out of my mind, I think about her all the time. I love her personality, she's easy to talk to, not to mention she's incredibly attractive. I think she likes me, mostly becuase of the little things like we will end up looking at each other, and for a moment it will be really awkward but then we'll just smile at each other, and of course the aforementioned, but I'm also afraid that I'm tricking myself into believing she likes me. I really want to get to know her more but I've always been shy and self-conscious, especially around girls. My primary concern is how I can get to know her more, and secondly I want to know if it really matters that I'm a freshman and shes a sophomor

take baby steps talking on the internet is a good start, then start talking to her in person everyday. You will soon get to know her more and she will get to know you. Then in the long run ask her out.

ask her out. sure it might be strange at first to go out with a girl in a higher grade but it's common in my school. i'm a soph. and i fell for one of my best guy frineds who is a freshman. things didn't work out but he's going out with another soph. so... just go for it

Well, especially with her being a sophmore GIRL, and you being a freshman BOY, that might be something to worry about as far as she is concerned. But you really seem to like this girl, and you shouldn't let that get in the way of how you feel. So you should let her know, if you think you can do something about it, and if she says no, than wear her down. Try your hardest to get the girl of your dreams.
