I have an online friend of 9 yrs or so. We were in HS when we met, and we both kinda wanted to get together but we lived across the country. Then we grew older, I got married, he got mad and got married because I was, then got divorced, now we're friends again, then he really started going back to the past saying I'm the only girl he ever loved, and he wishes we get a chance to be together, I told him that I do love him, but I"m in love with my husband, then he all the sudden got engaged to this girl again, and no he says he can't talk to me. One week we're best friends and now were not. He left me a lame myspace message about how we can't talk and to not even reply to the message. We have always been honest with eachother, so Would you leave it alone, or would you email them??

If you do email him, tell him that he needs some help. Then I wouldn't email him again. He may be a good friend but he is always going to be this way unless something else happens. You don't have to be mean to him, just quit talking to him. He will probably eventually find another person to obsess over.

Leave it alone. Just be with your husband and be happy that you have him. Some things are better left alone and this guy is definately one of them.

leave it alone. this is a weird relationship and should not go further than is necessary. both of u have grown up and live separates lives. u r being true and living life as a healthy adult. dont get tangle up in unnecessary mess. ur husband wont like it too. just let it go.

Just let it be. You are married. Hopefully your husband is great, you say you love him. And this other guy is getting married. Let him be miserable and you be happy.

If I were you, I would just leave it alone. Because he seems too emotionally disturbed, where you are concerned. Does he know where you and your family live? I hope not!

i would email him and tell him if he can't understand that you love your husband that he is not a very good friend and that all you are looking for is his friendship i have been there so i know it will be hard for you because you care for him as a friend but you should let him go
